Hello Henry D. Perry (HDPEC) Families,
We are in the process of returning students to HDPEC who completed the reopening survey or contacted the school to express an interest in returning. Please know that all students, whether continuing eLearning at home or on the main campus of HDPEC, will have the same learning opportunities and experiences. We will continue to deliver instruction via TEAMS and Canvas.
There will be no activities or learning experiences conducted on campus that students will not be able to complete at home. The learning between on-site and at-home students will be synchronous (taking place at the same time). Students opting for on-campus eLearning will be required to bring their laptops with them to and from school each day. Our school times have reverted to our standard schedule of 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM for all students, whether learning from home or at school. Students are permitted on campus 30 minutes before the start and end time only. No supervision is available outside of these times.
Due to the number of students returning to campus, students will remain in designated areas for their school day. The rooms that have been designated for classrooms are large enough to maintain social distancing among students and teachers. All K-12 students are permitted to participate in our grab and go breakfast and lunch program. All students will always be required to wear masks; and adhere to social distancing protocols while on campus.
Finally, my staff and I would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during these tumultuous time. Please understand that this is still an evolving situation and many decisions have yet to be finalized. We will continue to push out information as we receive it.
