Greetings Henry D. Perry Family,

It is with excitement that I begin another educational journey as the new principal of Henry D. Perry Education Center.  Although this will be my first year as principal at Henry D. Perry, it is not my first year as a principal. I’m beginning my 15th year as a principal and 27 years in education with the School Board of Broward County.  I am honored and humbled to join the Gator Family and thrilled about the successes we will have together.

Even though we will be opening schools remotely, my staff and I are committed to providing our students every opportunity to succeed during these times of uncertainty. I know you are eager to have your students return to school but keeping the Gator Family safe is paramount. We miss our students and are looking forward to their return to campus.

Nevertheless, be assured that we are dedicated to delivering instruction that meet the varying needs of our students. Several of our teachers have been attending trainings throughout the summer to support their professional growth as it pertains to an e-Learning platform. We can’t wait to engage our students in a virtual instructional environment with added social and emotional supports to promote a positive learning experience.

Lastly, I am looking forward to a productive year and with your support, I’m sure together we can make great things happen. If you would like to share any ideas you have or simply share feedback, please feel free to contact the school and your voice will be heard. GATOR PRIDE!!!
